Boston Jewish Film Festival – Atlit

November 7, 2015 Brookline

1995. Three French sisters reunite in the house where they spent childhood summers, in Atlit, Israel. As the sisters struggle with the decision to sell their deceased parents’ home, old struggles and childhood dynamics return — along with apparitions of their parents. Meanwhile, the peace process is in full swing, playing as both a parallel and influence in the relationships between the sisters, their parents, and the Israel itself. With the tragic assassination of Yitzhak Rabin, the siblings relationship and conversations shift entirely. In French and Hebrew with subtitles.

November 7 screening introduced by Consul General of Israel to New England, Yehuda Yaakov.
