Boston Jewish Film Festival – The Muses of Isaac Basheves Singer

November 8, 2015 Brookline $11.00 - $16.00 0

Isaac Bashevis Singer is probably the best-known Yiddish writer of all time. His stories were both translated and inspired by a “harem” of translators, who often had multifaceted relationships with Singer — both professional and romantic. Today, nine of these women tell their stories through intimate interviews and exclusive archival footage.
