For Clergy Only
While working with their clergy peers, participants will have an opportunity to sharpen their counseling skills by focusing on challenging situations that premarital couples may present. Using scenarios and role plays, this practicum will offer useful tools enabling clergy to help couples strengthen their communication and clarify future choices. Specific suggestions for counseling interfaith and conversionary couples will also be provided.

Facilitated by Dr. Paula Brody, Director URJ/RJOB Outreach Training Institute with Rabbi Julie Zupan, URJ/RJOB Clergy Liaison.

Registrants are strongly encouraged to complement this Part 2 practicum with the Part 1 session offered on Wednesday, May 14th, which introduces the counseling manual.

Registration is $45pp and includes all materials, morning refreshments and a kosher lunch.
Contact Maria Benet at mbenet@urj.org or 617-928-0012 for additional information and Boston accommodations.
