Every Step Counts: Hadassah’s Walking Program and Beach Stride Inspires Women to Walk Their Way to Healthier, Longer Lives

As an extension of Hadassah’s signature national heart health education campaign, EVERY BEAT COUNTS: Hadassah’s Heart Health Program ™ Hadassah Seacoast and Dover Chapters and Temple Israel Sisterhood of Portsmouth, NH are holding the Every Step Counts: Hadassah’s Walking Program Community Beach Stride. This community gathering will celebrate the program challenging women and their families to walk their way to increased heart health and track their progress online. The program, which was established by Hadassah, the Women’s Zionist Organization of America, Inc., is designed to engage and inform women of all ages that heart disease is the #1 killer of women and is preventable 82% of the time.

The Hadassah Beach Stride will take place on Sunday, June 14 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. starting at the home of a Hadassah member across from Wallis Sands. Participants will enjoy a light snack and learn about Hadassah’s lifesaving work from Kathy Kerstein, Hadassah Northern New England Chair for “Every Step Counts.” For more details about the location, please contact brassun1@comcast.net or call 603-431-8207.
