From Terezin to Auschwitz to Newton

March 15, 2015 Newton

***DUE TO POPULAR DEMAND it has been decided that this event, hosted by CTeen, will be open to all ages! Please allow the teens to sit in the front rows.***

In commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, we are honored to have Mr. Edgar Krasa, a Holocaust survivor in his nineties, from the film Defiant Requiem, talk to us.

We will be watching the documentary film Defiant Requiem at 1:00PM and Mr. Krasa will join us at 2:30PM to hear about it first hand. If you can’t make it for the whole event, feel free to join just to hear Mr. Krasa’s talk about his experiences in the Terezin detention camp and Auschwitz death camp.
