Happiest Baby on the Block Workshop

Expectant parents and new parents of children ages 0-4 months will discover soothing techniques to calm their crying or fussy baby in this early parenting workshop being held at the Leventhal-Sidman Jewish Community Center (333 Nahanton Street) in Newton on Tuesday, August 19 from 6:30-8pm. Based on methods developed by best-selling author and pediatrician Dr. Harvey Karp, the workshop follows a step-by-step approach to soothe and calm your baby including: the missing 4th trimester, the calming reflex, the 5 S’s, and the cuddle cure. Please bring your own baby doll or stuffed animal if you are not coming with your baby. Class will be taught by Melanie Venuti, a certified Happiest Baby on the Block educator.
