Hebrew Play is currently enrolling!

Hebrew Play promotes Hebrew as an integral part of Jewish identity in America by inspiring families to play together in the language. Our goal is to support families (with children ages 0-5) to learn Hebrew through immersive methods using Israeli culture and community building.  Our program uses both the classics and contemporary Israeli children’s literature, music, movement, and sensory activities to connect both Hebrew speaking families and families interested in learning Hebrew through songs, music making, stories for children, and play-centered parent-child experiences.

Interested in enrolling your child? Classes will be offered at Temple Israel (125 Pond Street in Sharon) for 10 week sessions.  Session 1 will be on Tuesdays from 9:15-10 beginning on November 1st.  An adult must accompany each child.  Cost:  $170 per child (sibling discount available).  To enroll, contact Nancy Hait from Ner Tamid Community Day School at (617)733-9661 OR  nhait@nertamidschool.org.

This program is offered through Ner Tamid Community Day School, a k-8 Jewish day school located at Temple Israel, and is generously funded by a Combined Jewish Philanthropies South Area Community Grant.
