June 12, 2014

JALSA is excited to invite you to our June Tzedek Salon, rescheduled from May. This month’s salon will continue our series of conversations, engaging prominent Massachusetts leaders on the issues that we currently face.

It’s a tough job market out there, certainly anybody looking to begin their career knows that. The past five years have been especially rough. How has this affected teens seeking employment? How does access to jobs affect violence prevention? What unique role does this play in the fight for economic and racial justice?

Join us as we hear from Dan Gelbtuch, Lead Organizer of the Youth Jobs Coalition!

Cash Bar. Refreshments Available. Please RSVP if possible.

All Tzedek Salons are live tweeted @JALSA_Boston. So if you can’t make it, you can still tune in!

Tzedek Salons bring young Jews and social activists together with important policy makers, attorneys and academics for casual conversations at local bars to explore cutting edge issues facing our society and state today.
