This November come to the Vilna Shul for Havurah on the Hill’s monthly Kabbalat Shabbat and hear from Adam Zucker, director of the eye-opening documentary The Return. Following the lives of a group of young Polish women discovering their Jewish roots, The Return takes you through the complexities of cultural heritage and personal discovery.

Enjoy a lively, non-denominational, and egalitarian Shabbat service, a full, kosher Shabbat dinner, and be part of a lively discussion about, film, the creative process, and what it’s like to be a Jew in today’s Eastern European social climate.

Havurah on the Hill is an important part of young adult Jewish life in Boston. Hundreds of young adults and the young at heart come together one Friday night a month for a Kabbalat Shabbat service – Friday night Jewish service that welcomes the Sabbath – and for other Jewish holiday services and celebrations. New faces are always welcome!

Free validated parking is available for Havurah on the Hill’s monthly Shabbats. The Vilna Shul is also easily accessible by public transportation. Just take the MBTA Red Line to Charles/MGH. For driving, walking and public transport directions, please visit our website.
