Let My People Eat: Jewish Holiday Food for People with Food Allergies

November 2, 2015 Brookline

Sponsored by TOS Sisterhood. We’ll talk about preparing traditional Jewish holiday foods for people who have food allergies/sensitivities (e.g., wheat/gluten/egg/ dairy) or food preferences (vegetarians/vegans). We’ll also discuss the healthiest of healthy foods found in the supermarket, some of which may surprise you. For example, find out why frozen blueberries are better for you than fresh blueberries.

This program will be led by our own Sisterhood member, Dr. Judy Mabel, a nutritionist, scientist, and dietitian who has authored a dozen scientific and clinical papers on nutrition. Judy and Alberta Lipson have been testing recipes, and samples of some of the recipes tested will be served.

We look forward to seeing you and welcome your questions about food allergies/sensitivities and healthy food choices.
We hope you can join us.
