Join Shalom Y’all and Ganei Beantown for pizza, beer, baking, and Torah! We will celebrate our new glutinous freedom and learn the basics of making a yeasted bread. We will knead, shape, and bake loaves, and we’ll learn what makes for so many different types of breads.

Dinner with your friends includes beer, pizza, and Torah study with Rabbi Neil Hirsch and Student Rabbi Alex Weissman.

Bread baking will be led by B Lareau-Meredith, who loves baking, cooking, and writing recipes; some of these skills were gained in professional settings, but most were learned on the fly at home. B also loves to facilitate skill building in the kitchen!

If you have any questions, please contact Student Rabbi Alex Weissman in the temple office at aweissman@templeshalom.org or at (617) 332-9550.

We look forward to seeing you there!
