Love & Marriage Jewish Style:Part 2

April 6, 2014 $20.00

In this 2nd seminar in the series, Rabbi Norbert Weinberg will lead us in studying sources in the Torah to address several questions such as whether a man is permitted to marry more than one woman and if so, under what conditions, when polygamy ended for Ashkenazic Jews, and what its status is with modern Sephardic Jews as well as Jews in modern Israel. We will learn whether divorce is permitted according to
Halacha (Jewish Law) and what the rules and parameters are. We will also examine such interesting issues as whether a man is permitted to remarry his divorced wife.

$20.00 for this class or $75 for the 4-part series. Scholarships available upon request
