Sabbath Eve Services with Special Guest: Cantor Tamar Havilio

July 15, 2016 Boston Free

Sabbath Eve Services with Special Guest: Cantor Tamar Havilio, Head of Cantorial Studies and Director of Music Hebrew Union College, Jerusalem

Please plan to join us for this special Service with Rabbi Berman’s and CRT’s dear friend, Cantor Havilio, who is remembered so fondly by the many of our Temple members who experienced her warmth and artistry in Israel during our visit three years ago.

In addition to coordinating a rich and varied musical program for our seminary in Jerusalem, and her shaping of young rabbinic and cantorial students, she has been a devoted supporter of our Rabbi’s work with the Society for Classical Reform Judaism, and has also been a prominent social justice advocate, leading the worship of the famed Women of the Wall who continue their struggle for full religious rights for all Jews at the Western Wall.

Cantor Havilio will join our CRT musicians in offering a special musical program for this Service.

Oneg Shabbat Social Hour follows our worship.
