The Rabbinical School of Hebrew College’s January 2017 seminar on “Science and the Soul” will include sessions open to the public with an impressive array of presenters from the fields of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Astrophysics, Mind body Medicine, Neuroscience, Organismic & Evolutionary Biology, Physics, and Physiology. Topics will include Torah and Creation; Prayer, Neuroscience, and the Interconnection of Mind/Body; and the Science of Compassion. The sessions are free with advance registration and registrants can sign up for any or all of the sessions. Schedule & Registration.

The winter seminar is funded by the John Templeton Foundation with support from the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS). AAAS supports efforts to integrate science into rabbinic training. As a science membership organization, it does not advise on or endorse the theological content of the program.
