Seniors Connect! Monthly Meetup – Dancing with Parkinson’s Disease

June 15, 2015

Join us for our latest Seniors Connect! monthly meetup where we will meet Vilna Shul volunteer, Dr. Margaret (Peggy) Wacks, and hear about one of her other great volunteer opportunities working with Jewish Family & Children’s Services (JF&CS).

Dr. Wacks will share her experiences as a volunteer in the dance program for people with Parkinson’s Disease at JF&CS located in Waltham, MA. This groundbreaking program of dance sessions combines physical and emotional support for individuals coping with a difficult chronic illness.

Dr. Wacks, a retired pathologist, is also a long time volunteer docent at the Vilna Shul.

Join us for lively conversation with this growing group!

Please be advised that due to the Vilna Shul’s summer construction, we will be meeting at the West End Library. Their address is:

151 Cambridge Street, Boston, MA 02114
617-523-3957
Branch Librarian: Helen Bender
