Shabbat Morning Service (with speakers from Yad B’Yad)

Please join us for musical, participatory, weekly Shabbat Morning Services, beginning at 9:45am. For people of all backgrounds and levels of Jewish experience. Services are followed by a kiddush lunch. Free childcare is available. All are welcome.

During the Torah service, we will be welcoming two representatives of Yad b’Yad/Hand in Hand, a network of bilingual, Arab-Jewish schools in Israel. Nadeira Hussein, a 5th grade teacher, and Rebecca Bardach, Director of Development and parent of children in one of the schools, will talk about the work being done by the Yad B’Yad network, whose mission is to foster peaceful coexistence between Jews and Arabs through the development of integrated, bilingual and multicultural schools.
