Shabbaton in Nature

August 22, 2015 $9.00 - $36.00

Spend Shabbat in nature during a one-day retreat as we journey through the month of Elul preceding Rosh HaShanah. Led by Rabbi Katy Allen, the day will include a meditative walk and morning service with Torah reading and an in-depth Torah discussion, potluck lunch, a special activity, and a longer hike. Bring a chair you can carry a short distance, a water bottle, something to share for lunch, your own dishes and utensils, and a favorite reading about teshuvah or nature. In case of rain, the service, Torah discussion, and lunch will be held at a private home. An optional donation is suggested – more if you can, less if you can’t.
