Shake It Up Shabbat!

September 13, 2014 Belmont

Once each month, Beth El has a special informal child centered Shabbat service designed especially for for our youngest friends: babies to elementary school age, their older siblings and loved ones. Everyone is welcome to this program, members and non-members, Jewish and non-Jewish partners and spouses alike.
These services are a joyful and musical Shabbat morning experience lead by Rabbi Kraus. After the short service, there will be fun, Jewish-themed activities including interactive movement, manipulative play, crafts, art and food projects, so dress for the mess! There will be opportunities for young families to get to know one another and build community as we move through the year. We aim to provide a space where families with young children can become comfortable experiencing a meaningful Shabbat service together and begin developing and enriching their own home practice.
Please join us for our next Shake It Up Shabbat! service on September 13th from 9:00-10:45AM at 2 Concord Ave in Belmont (entrance to the parking lot is on Blanchard Road). This is an open event! No Temple membership required!
