The Torah Reading will include the 10 Commandments & Dr. Fishman’s first hand account of his recent visit & troubled times in Moscow, Russia & Kiev, Ukraine.

Dr. David Fishman was with us for Passover and returns for Shavuot! He is a Professor of Modern Jewish History at JTS (Jewish Theological Seminary) & Director of Project Judaica, JTS’ program at the Russian State University in Moscow. Next week, as part of Project Judaica, he will be visiting Moscow & Kiev, Ukraine. Dr. Fishman is also the Director of the Jewish Archival Survey which has uncovered hundreds of archival collections related to the Holocaust in Russia & the Ukraine.
