Want to hear the shofar on Rosh Hashanah but not able to make it to services in the morning?

All are welcome (adults, young professionals and children) to join us in the serene and botanical setting of the Public Garden at the George Washington Statue to listen to Judaism’s ancient sounds of the Shofar.

The Jewish people have been blowing the Shofar, a simple hollowed out ram’s horn, for thousands of years in celebration of Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year.

Intrinsically, the Shofar is not just a sound. It is a cry. A prayer. A soul-awakening, personal, meditative and rousing experience. Hearing the sound of the shofar is the essential  precept associated with celebrating the Holiday.

No RSVP required but appreciated so we can plan accordingly at BostonChabad.org.
