Siblings Workshop: For Siblings of Kids with Special Needs

November 9, 2015 Lexington

The Temple Emunah Inclusion Committee presents a Siblings Workshop, for kids of siblings with special needs. This workshop, which will be run by Stephanie Rohr, a graduate of Simmons School of Social Work and a Program Specialist / Case Manager at JFS in Metrowest, will meet for five weeks (every other week), starting November 9 (Mondays at 5:00 PM). This program is geared towards Middle-School aged kids, but older and younger students are welcome to attend and Temple membership is NOT required!

The workshop will provide support and a safe place to share concerns, will teach tools for advocating for self and family, and will encourage participants to bring their own concerns to the discussion! There is a suggested donation of $50 / participant. For more details or to register, contact Jodie Parmer: jparmer@templeemunah.org or 781-861-0300.

This program is underwritten by Temple Emunah and is supported by The Ruderman Synagogue Inclusion Project
