Watch the award-winning documentary, The Work of 1000, that illustrates the Power of Women Who Do.

Special guests:

Marion Stoddart – the focus of the documentary, inspires with her passion and commitment to clean up the Nashua River, once one of the ten most polluted rivers in the country. Stoddart will answer questions and join the walk.

Susan Edwards, the award-winning documentary’s director and producer, will talk about her need to share this amazing story about a hero in our midst.

Following the discussion, meet at Williams Barn for a 1.5-hour heart-healthy trail walk (through wetlands, forest and a gorgeous field), led by naturalist/educator Stacey Chilcoat and geologist Nancy Jackson, PhD.

1:30 p.m. Meet at Groton Public Library in Sibley Hall to view documentary and hold discussion with Susan Edwards and Marion Stoddart.

3:00 p.m. Leave from Williams Barn (160 Chicopee Row, Groton, Mass.)

4:30 p.m. Return from walk
