Torathon 2015 – Our Global Jewish Journey

This year Torathon will begin with a cadre of noted Jewish musicians (Ellen Allard, EJ Cohen, Sharon Brown-Goldstein, Rabbi Rachel Gurevitz, Sue Horowitz, Lisa Marcus Jones, Cantor Jeff Klepper, Rabbi Suri Krieger, Cantor Jeri Robins, Cantor Rachel Reef-Simpson) in concert, presenting
a very special tribute to Debbie Friedman, America’s leading singer and songwriter of Jewish religious
songs and melodies marking the 5th anniversary of her death.

Following this, over the next three hours will be a wonderful evening of learning, with your choice of 30 classes, lectures, discussions, and workshops led by rabbis, cantors, Jewish educators and community
leaders. Just to mention a few of the sessions; Maggie Anton, author of Rashi’s Daughters, AIPAC, Larry Lowenthal will discuss the Iran situation, A dessert reception will close the evening.
