Tu Bishvat, the “New Year of the Trees,” is an opportunity to celebrate our connection to the earth. Jewish mystics of the 16th century created the Tu Bishvat seder, in which they would eat fruits of the land of Israel with blessings and intentions. Join Rabbi Toba Spitzer and CDT members for our own version of the seder, during which we’ll explore our relationship to trees and the earth, the struggles of the workers who bring food to our table, and the possibility of healing our planet.
