The Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies (CHGS) at Salem State University invites you to take part in a discussion among US war veterans and a diverse group of Israel Defense Force officers. The two groups will share experiences and discuss moral dilemmas soldiers face on and off the battlefield.

The CHGS is an academic center dedicated to the study of atrocities and mass violations of human rights, to Holocaust and genocide education, and to inspire individuals to tackle prejudice and discrimination in their communities.

Rooted in compassion and justice and driven by innovation, the Combined Jewish Philanthropy forges strong connections with Israel and above all, inspires the next generation to embrace Jewish life and learning.

The IDF soldiers participate in the Hatikvah Officers Mission, a CJP program that brings young Israeli officers to the Boston area to discuss what it means to be an Israeli soldier in what are often very challenging circumstances.
