Looking for a new volunteer opportunity for the new year?  Come to an information session to learn more about becoming a Volunteer Mikveh Guide at Mayyim Hayyim.  Volunteer Mikveh Guides – men and women – are the public face of Mayyim Hayyim.  They serve as informal educators and tour guides, answer the phone, provide information and advice about immersion, and do loads of “holy laundry.”  Mikveh Guides are carefully selected and trained to do all of this and to act as witnesses for immersion, a moment of transition and vulnerability.  As a Mikveh Guide, you are the point of connection between the individual and a sacred tradition.

Info sessions (optional) are held at noon and 6:30 pm on January 14.

The training itself will consist of seven Sunday sessions from March 2 to May 2, 2014 (March 2, 6-8:30pm; March 9, 6-8:30 pm; March 23, 6-8:30 pm; April 6, 4-6:30 pm; April 27, 4-6:30 pm; May 4, 6:30-9 pm).

Please submit your application for the training by January 27.
