Water Is Life Outdoor Shabbat Service

December 17, 2016 Boston Free

Join Rabbi Katy Allen of Ma’yan Tikvah and Molly Bajgot, local organizer, for an outdoor Shabbat morning service and a walk around Jamaica Pond. We will offer prayers for the water and Water Protectors and will stop for singing, prayer, and meditation, as well as a discussion of the weekly Torah portion. The focus of our service will be on water, so bring a reading or thought about water if you would like. All are welcome. This service is co-sponsored by Moishe Kavod House. If it is really chilly, we will return to Moishe Kavod House, 104 Robinwood Ave., Jamaica Plain, for the Torah discussion. For more information, contact Rabbi Katy at rabbi@mayantikvah.org or Molly at mollybajgot@gmail.com.
