Join Mayyim Hayyim and families with children in grades K-2 in Waltham for two fun, interactive programs that explore the connection between water and Judaism.

Each program will bring stories of water to life through hands-on projects in art and science, time to move around and much more, all while meeting other families from the area.

Water and You – November 6th (10:30am-12:00pm):

Meet other families in the neighborhood and explore water as an important symbol in Judaism. Listen to interactive PJ Library stories including a modern twist on Noah’s Ark, with PJ Library’s Why Dogs Have Wet Noses. Experiment with science projects-have you ever wondered why some things float on water and others don’t? Reflect on the importance of water in your everyday life-have you ever wondered why water was formed on the second day of creation?

Transitions and Time – November 20th (10:30am-12:00pm):

Childhood and parenting is all about navigating transitions: going to camp for the first time, starting school, welcoming a new sibling. Join other families in the neighborhood for an interactive book reading, music, and fun arts and crafts that will explore transitions (big and small) in our day-to-day lives and the Jewish tradition.
