Did you know that women played an active role in the Hanukkah story? Join us for a hevruta study session to meet the valiant Maccabean women and be inspired by their courage and heroism — both on and off the battlefield. Hevruta will be led by Devorah Evron, Director of the Women’s Institute at HaMidrasha Educational Center for Renewal of Jewish Life in Israel. A Halacha and Talmud scholar, she is an authority on Judaism and gender in Israel. Seating is limited. Sunday session is in Hebrew; Monday session in English.
