Special guest Dr. Hans Fisher, Rutgers Professor Emeritus, was among the refugees aboard the St Louis in 1939 when the ship was turned away from the United States and Cuba. He will speak about his experience growing up in Nazi Germany and as a passenger on board the St. Louis.
