Last year, 38 Jewish teens with no prior fundraising experience raised and allocated over $33,000 from 440 different donors to non-profits to help combat poverty and support youth through access to education.

This year promises to be even better. You don’t want to miss out.

In a time when teens are busier than ever and making hard choices about what to spend their free time doing, the Jewish Teen Foundation of Greater Boston (JTFGB) has become an attractive option. In exchange for a commitment to attend all of the monthly sessions and meet a minimum fundraising goal teens are exposed to a cutting-edge curriculum and program arc that takes them from fundraising newbies to bona fide teen leaders who understand how to do consensus building, grant reviews, site visits, and raise money for worthy causes. And so much more.

The Jewish Teen Foundation also features a first-of-its-kind collaboration between three of Jewish Boston’s most respected institutions- Hebrew College, Gann Academy, and Combined Jewish Philanthropies- with five staff people working on the program in addition to a committed group of volunteers. JTFGB is quickly becoming a marquee community program and the time to get on board is now.

Slots for this year are nearly filled so apply today to submit your application to be a JTFGB fellow. We look forward to hearing from you.

For more information, please contact the JTFGB program coordinators, Leah Goldstein at Hebrew College, or Danya Ravid at Gann Academy.
