Humanistic Judaism offers an alternative approach to Judaism, including non-theistic celebrations of Jewish holidays and life-cycle events, and a love of Jewish heritage.

We learn from humanism and the history, culture, and experience of the Jewish people, finding inspiration for pursuing personal goals and striving for social justice.

As the only congregation of Humanistic Judaism in the region, Kahal B’raira attracts a diverse membership from across Massachusetts and beyond. We are a warm and welcoming community with members of all ages, both individuals and families, including GLBT, interfaith and intercultural families as well as Israeli and Russian immigrants.

We are members of the Society of Humanistic Judaism and members of a worldwide movement for Humanistic Judaism.
