The Friends of the Arava Institute is a U.S. registered 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. Its mission is to support the critical work of the Arava Institute for Environmental Studies through public awareness, student recruitment and fundraising campaigns. The Friends of the Arava Institute is supported by a national board of trustees and a professional staff team dedicated to manifesting the values of the Arava Institute in the United States and around the world.
The Arava Institute for Environmental Studies in Israel is the premier environmental education and research program in the Middle East, preparing future Arab and Jewish leaders to cooperatively solve the region’s environmental challenges.
