The Vilna Shul, Boston’s Center for Jewish Culture, is the last remaining immigrant era synagogue in the city of Boston. Built in 1919, it has become the place for people from around Boston and around the world to connect with the Boston Jewish historical, cultural and spiritual experience. By weaving together Jewish history, culture, and spirituality, the Vilna Shul energizes a sense of American Jewish pride and creates an approachable space to discuss Judaism. Vilna currently operates as a cultural center and offers a variety of programming, including conversations, films, monthly Shabbat services and more for young adults, young families, senior citizens and everyone in between.
