In the meantime, a few words about GesherCity and the fantastic young adult Jewish community in Boston.

First, what's GesherCity? 

GesherCity is an organization focused on "bridging" young adults in their 20s and 30s to the Greater Boston Jewish community.(Did you know... Gesher means Bridge in Hebrew?)  If you’re unsure of how to get involved, GesherCity will help you figure it out!

What we provide:

Quick Picks Newsletter – a weekly email with upcoming events, community announcements, and exciting online content in partnership with JewishBoston.com

LEADS – an 8 week program that runs in the Spring and Fall that brings new people in the community together to meet each other in small neighborhood groups. The Leads program gives participants a chance to experience Jewish learning, explore their Jewish identity, take part in 2 Shabbat dinners together, do community service, and more. GesherCity helps each participant learn about the many events and organizations available in Boston to stay involved during and after LEADS. LEADS is run in partnership with the Young Leadership Division of CJP.

Ambassadors – Are you new in town? Wish you could just talk to someone like you 1:1? Want to get to know other young Jewish adults at pre-parties before Boston’s largest social events? (NOTE... you just signed up for this service!) The Ambassador program is run in partnership with the Young Leadership Division of CJP.

Info Events – (i.e. the Open House Party and InfoSchmoozes) - A great opportunity to meet representatives from all the Jewish Boston organizations that host young adult events as well as a chance to get to know other young adults in the community. These events are usually in a bar or other local hotspot.

High Holiday Ticket Match – A program that matches participants to local synagogues for a warm and welcoming experience.
