created at: 2011-03-29Originally designed to complement my book, The Passover Seder: Touch, Turn, Open, and Learn (Scholastic, out of print), “Passover Go Fish” introduces even the youngest child to key moments of the seder. A fun twist is one “plagues” card and one “afikoman” card count as plus or minus a set. You might find it amusing to know that while creating a prototype, I lost the “afikoman” card and found myself saying, “Where’s the afikoman? Where’s the afikoman?” I found it among the pages of my datebook the next day!

No prior knowledge is necessary. Hebrew transliteration and English are provided for each word. And, players too young to read either language can hold up a card and say, “Do you have any of these?”

A fun way to learn and get excited about Passover! created at: 2011-03-29

Locally, you’ll find “Passover Go Fish” at Israel Book Shop, Kolbo, Brookline Booksmith, and New England Mobile Book Fair or online at Amazon.
