Husband and I and 6 friends saw Song of Songs- aLoveRomp at BCA Plaza Theatre Sat night (6/11)-- FABULOUS! Great music -- swallows you up - touches your heart -- makes you laugh, makes you sigh --choreography and movement lovely and expressive -- also some clever, special, delightful surprises. All the actors are so talented -- really click. A journey through the stages of love -- all kinds. It's based on, you guessed it, the classic Biblical text, Song of Songs -- Jason Slavick does a wonderful job translating it to the stage. It's 1 1/2 hrs of great music and dance in an intimate setting. We even bought the CD ($5) so we can listen to it again and again.
