Believe it or not, the 2012 holiday season is upon us! Project Bread is looking for art and photographic submissions for its holiday card program. If selected, your card design will be sold at a number of retail outlets, including Whole Foods stores, and sold through Project Bread’s newsletter and online store at www.projectbread.org.  Credit for your design will be given on the back of every card, and on our website, along with your artist bio.

Artists will be awarded $1,000 for each selected design.

Project Bread holiday cards are purchased by corporations and individuals dedicated to alleviating and ending hunger in Massachusetts. Designs must appeal to a mass market, and we encourage the submission of secular holiday card options. The following are appropriate themes:

• New England/ Boston Winter

• Hope, Joy, Tradition, Family & Friends

• Global Peace

• Jewish Holiday

Design submissions will be due on Thursday, June 7, 2012 for 2012-2013 cards. The preferred format is PDF or JPEG for printed cards. Please contact Sasha Didier at 617-239-2502 or email Sasha_Didier@projectbread.org with your submissions attached, or with any questions.  Visit www.projectbread.org/ourcards for holiday card examples.
