When Megan De Grass, Director of Public Finance Investment Banking at Raymond James, and a volunteer with GBJCL Reading Buddies saw the students at the Condon Elementary School using antiquated computers, most of which could not even connect to the internet, she decided to do something about it. Ms. De Grass discovered that the Florida branch of her company was upgrading their technology and immediately thought of her connection to the Condon. She was able to secure a donation by Raymond James to the school of 23 lightly used laptops. The school’s administration was overjoyed at this marked improvement in technology.
