American Physicians Fellowship for Medicine in Israel is an organization of physicians and healthcare professionals committed to fosterin ties between the North American healthcare community and Israel's healthcare community. Programs include fellowship and research grants to Israeli physicians and nurses, an Emergency Medical Volunteer Registry of healthcare personnel available to travel to Israel in time of declared emergency, student medical birthright trips every summer, Emergency and Disaster Preparedness Courses for North American healthcare workers held in Israel twice a year, and others.
