JCC Kaleidoscope Creative Arts & Science Camp
A Program of Jewish Community Centers of Greater Boston
JCC Kaleidoscope Creative Arts + Science Camp, located at the Leventhal-Sidman JCC, presents boys and girls in grades K-8 with opportunities to make friends, learn new skills, stay active, and nurture their inner artists. Campers experiment with the arts and science--and a healthy dose of sports and the great outdoors--and regularly showcase their talents under the supervision of artists, performers, and experienced counselors. Facilities include fully-equipped art studios, a professional stage, and the indoor and outdoor fitness facilities of the JCC. Activities are tailored to age and ability; all campers recieve Red Cross-approved instructional swim and may participate in free swim. Four- and eight-week sessions are avilable; special two week sessions are available for kindergartners and Upper Campers (grades 4-8). The camp day runs from 9am to 4pm, with extended day and early drop-off available. Bus transportation is provided from pre-determined stops in Brookline, Wayland and Framingham. Kaleidoscope campers come from all over Greater Boston. Staff and campers share a sense of Jewish pride, and Jewish themes are woven through camp life; however, campers of all faiths are welcome.
