AJC Boston ACCESS
ACCESS was created by American Jewish Committee (AJC) to engage young Jewish leaders in their 20’s, 30’s and early 40’s in the work of AJC locally, nationally, and internationally, and to establish the next generation of leaders.
What is AJC?
AJC is the world's leading Jewish NGO engaged in regional and international diplomacy to defend human rights for all, protect the well-being of Jewish communities throughout the world, and advance support for a secure peace between Israel and its neighbors, while assuring fair treatment for Israel in the international community.
What does ACCESS stand for?
A ccessing leaders locally, nationally, and internationally
C reating relationships with young community leaders and the broader community
C onnecting to like-minded, outstanding young Jewish leaders
E xploring Jewish, democratic, and pluralistic values
S tudying and advocating for vital Jewish interests in Boston, nationally and globally
S haring in the work of AJC nationally through the Boston chapter
What are ACCESS’ objectives?
· Developing a cadre of active, knowledgeable and invested young Jewish leaders to actively participate in advancing the work of AJC, and to develop an appreciation for AJC’s unique style of advocacy and relationship building.
· Introducing young Jewish leaders to some of the complex global challenges our community faces and instilling an appreciation for the far reaching impact that an informed and motivated community can have.
