Congregation Agudath Achim (Taunton)
As a progressive, independent 100-year-old congregation, we serve the Greater Taunton Area Jewish community with weekly Shabbat morning services, monthly Shabbat evening services, a religious school for children birth to age 15 staffed with professional teachers skilled in Judaic studies and Hebrew. We worship in a heimish 97-year-old synagogue just off Taunton Green at 36 Winthrop Street. Our offices, classrooms, Rabbi Baruch Korff library, social hall/auditorium with stage and kitchen are located in The Jewish Community House around the corner from the synagogue at 133 High Street. Occasional adult education programs, a strong sisterhood and family programming bring our Jewish community together for learning, mitzvot, fun and celebration.
