Temple Beth David

Temple Beth David is a caring, active and diverse community located in Westwood, MA, serving towns across the Rt. 109 corridor. Together, our reform congregation explores and experiences all aspects of Jewish life.

Our Shabbat services generally start at 6:30 pm every Friday night, except for the second Friday of every month, when our Kabbalat Shabbat service for our youngest members and their families is at 5:45 pm and our regular service is at 7:45 pm. The first Friday of every month is our Intergenerational Service, using a special liturgy compiled by Rabbi Wildstein and Cantorial Soloist Reef-Simpson that speaks equally to many generations.

Temple Beth David offers two ways to worship on Shabbat mornings. At 8:30 am, our Early Shabbat Service is held in the library. Come for prayer, Torah study and a nosh. This service is year round and open to all. On many Saturday mornings, we observe Shabbat and celebrate with one of our younger congregants as they become a Bar or Bat Mitzvah. These services are held at 10:30 am in the Sanctuary.

There are occasionally changes to this schedule when there are special programs, please check our website or call the Temple office to confirm the service time.

Everyone is always welcome at all our Shabbat services!
