Boston Jewish Music Festival
Now more than ever, Jewish music encompasses more styles than ever. From horas to hip hop, classic cantorial to contemporary compositions, rock, Klezmer, Ladino…Jewish music today comes in as many different shapes as the people who make it.
The Boston Jewish Music Festival is dedicated to presenting exceptional artists whose music proudly reflects their Jewishness. From the most secular to the most observant, the BJMF events are planned to inspire us and to turn us on to the amazing, ever-evolving world of Jewish music.
Great concerts, however, are just the beginning. Throughout the festival, we hold artist workshops in local schools, informative lectures and post-concert events.
Music is part of our tradition. The festival will create new ways to make it part of our community.
