Kesher Newton
Kesher Newton is a nationally-recognized alternative to traditional Hebrew School, where children learn Jewish culture and Hebrew language in a spirited, camp-like environment. Kesher's innovative curriculum challenges students intellectually while fostering Jewish commitment, joy of learning, and active community participation. Kesher Newton is an independent, pluralistic community, that is welcoming to all.
Kesher Newton combines quality after school care with exciting, dynamic Hebrew and Jewish education. Though Hebrew school and Jewish education are at the core of what Kesher does, since its beginning, Kesher has been a community.
Kesher Newton addresses the growth of each child and each parent through a foundation of learning and a diversity of Jewish experiences with Jewish values at the core.
Children come to Kesher Newton twice a week and there are groups for children from Kindergarten through Grade 8. We coordinate our schedule with the Newton Public Schools, opening early on Tuesdays and early release Thursdays.
