Striar Hebrew Academy
Striar Hebrew Academy of Sharon (SHAS) is a coeducational, Modern Orthodox day school in South-area Boston, serving students toddler-age through Grade 6. All SHAS students receive caring, individualized attention, made possible by our low student-to-faculty ratio and our compassionate teachers.
Families choose SHAS because they seek a challenging and supportive environment where they can be partners in their child's education. Our integrated curriculum leads students to become confident, critical thinkers with a passion for learning. They emerge as young Jews with a well-defined sense of their own Jewish identity and values. Our guiding principle is the concept of Torah u'Mada (Torah and worldly knowledge). The value of combining a Judaic and general education was the vision behind our school's founding and, today, remains at the core of our educational philosophy.
