When we utilize lights during this season, be it the ever increasing lights of the chanukiah, or the festive lights of Christmas, we remind ourselves that light can indeed triumph over darkness.

We remind ourselves that even in moments of deep darkness we can discover a means to pierce the shadows and enter into a world of optimism and happiness. Gazing at lights lifts our spirits. They provide us with hope. They signify a way out of darkness. They tell us that each of us have the ability to create a light to lead us outward to joy and contentment.

They remind us of all that is good and remind us that there is more to life than what is directly in front of us. Revel in your lights this season and may they help to bestow upon you joy, hope and contentment!
