Jewish Family Service is pleased to welcome Rabbi Jeff Foust to our Kesher team!

Rabbi Foust is a Board Certified Chaplain who has considerable experience doing Jewish chaplaincy work throughout the greater Boston area. He is the Jewish Chaplain for Bentley University and is part of their interfaith Spiritual Life Center. Rabbi Foust is a student and teacher of Kabbalah and is keen to give mindful attention to our body, heart, mind, and spirit as well as to how we interact with each other and with the world. He is very excited about the way our Kesher program brings together our synagogue youth and our elders. When he was the rabbi of Temple Beth Israel in Waltham, he brought together pre- and post-B’nai Mitzvah students with the congregation’s elders.

At JFS, Rabbi Foust will be visiting and leading Shabbat Services at 13 assisted living facilities and nursing homes in the Metrowest area. He will also lead services at facilities with Kesher 13 students and their families.
