JF&CS News December 2015
Michael joined CHAI Works in March 2011. He learned vital social, safety, coping, time management, and independent living skills. By the summer of 2014, he had gained the confidence necessary to move out of his parents’ house into a JF&CS Collaborative Living Support House in Malden. He accesses his neighborhood independently, uses the RIDE to get to and from his daily activities, enjoys weekends with his peers at the house, and loves learning, reading, and taking photographs.
